Mr. Eric Litwin, the best-selling author of Pete the Cat, I Love My White Shoes performed a very special musical read-a-loud just for West Virginia Head Start which we hosted at a Head Start center in Parkersburg, WV! Mr. Eric is the original author of the beloved first four “Pete the Cat” picture books: I Love My White Shoes, Rocking in My School Shoes, Four Groovy Buttons and Pete the Cat Saves Christmas. These four books have sold over 10 million copies, are #1 New York Times Bestsellers, have been translated into 14 languages, and won 19 state and national literacy awards, including a Theodor Geisel Seuss Honor Award!

The children had a wonderful, groovy time and the official video will be shared with Head Start classrooms throughout the state of West Virginia so that children can enjoy the story of everyone’s favorite cool cat for many years to come!
